Chlorophyter: Herbal Assault

Chlorophyter: Herbal Assault! is a unique psuedo-retro 2D fighting game built in the Ikemen engine starring Plants, Fungi, and even a few Protists. A simple but deceptively deep game about kicking grass and taking names. 

 

ONE BUTTON FIGHTING GAME! Everything is performed via motion inputs and a single attack button. 

GAIN SUNLIGHT! The game features a unique sunlight meter that fills automatically. Unlike other fighters, almost all of your moves require a little bit of meter to function, so resource management is a must. Every character has their own unique method of gaining meter that you must strategize around.

STATUS EFFFECTS! Chlorophyter features a unique RPG style status effect system that allows you to poison, burn, shock, freeze, or even over water your opponent. Some characters are immune to certain status or react differently to them. The statuses will also interact with each other in different ways, such as an over watered plant being immune to burn.

14 PLAYABLE CHARACTERS! Choose from 14 characters, each with their own gameplay style and quirks.

2 GIANT BOSSES! make it to the end of arcade or story mode and face off against the plant king Lord Dreadwood, or the massive fungal mycelium, Honey Bun!

SECRETS! discover all the hidden goodies tucked away just under the top soil.
